For first in a while, we are in a tour again. A sprinting tour in the Down Under. It's the first edition of this so called Kangaroo Tour, so if you never heard of it before, no problem.
The team will be bringing a strong sprinting squad to Australia. Franz Amelung will be leading the team, because of the TT and the hills in the most important stages. It's a pitty that our windbreaker was injured on the day of the signup, so the first 2 stages will probably give Amelung some difficulties. But after that, we hope to win it all! Ketil Boisen, Ketsada Phonephachan, Sheridan Phippen, Aubrey Parcher and last but not least, our unmaxed talent Andres Pavlas will be the guys that try to set up everything for the sprint.
Ofcourse we are not alone, and lots of others has joined as well. Among them some very strong teams. In English Sprinting Team we see a good competitor. If Hammon does well in the TT and can hold on to his lead, he is likely to win the GC. Also Keegan Shuba, from Vientiane Cycling, is a plausable winner. He is a strong allrounder with top form and good support. A lot of other teams come with great captains and support ofcourse, but for me, these are the men to watch.
Lately Team JAN has struggled to get results, lots of offdays were the main problem. Also the last super or good legs for the captain are from last season or something, so things may start to change. The men are ready to give everything in this tour, so hopefully you'll enjoy!
Here you can follow the results of the team for the next 3 days:
Gold Coast - Gold Coast: 7th - $2.000
Toowoomba - Brisbane: 1st - $9.000
Coffs Harbour - Port Macquarie: 5th - $3.000
Newcastle - Sydney: 5th - $3.000
Sydney - Sydney: 1st - $10.000
General Classification: 1st - $15.000
Total of $42.000 and 308 points. Thank you very much Amelung!

Congrats! Great result for you and Franz.
Thanks, I had my doubts after last races, but he gained my trust again after Kangaroo
Amelung is awesome
3 most difficult races for Amelung are over, and he did not bad. I think it will be a exiting final 2 stages between Shuba, Terwenhout, Hammon and Amelung. Who will get the wildcards? :)
Good luck!
